About

By day, I am an independent marketing consultant living in Brooklyn, NY. By night (and sometimes by day too! shhhh…don’t tell) I am an extreme design and home decor enthusiast. I find myself spending hours on end surfing the Internet and blog-o-sphere searching for design inspiration. I created Decor Inspiration as a place to catalog all the things that inspire me. I draw inspiration from a number of sources including, but not limited to the following: architecture, graphic design, fashion, fine arts, stationary, event design, weddings, scrap-booking, catering and anything else that is creative.
Since my husband and I currently live in NYC, space is a premium and I often virtually design rooms for my dream house. Most recently, I’ve spent a lot of my spare time designing the nursery for our little girl, Milan Elyse, born April 2009. We are in a one-bedroom apartment in Fort Greene now, so a nursery is not an option, but hopefully that will change soon. My virtual nesting has led to my virtual design practice. I still remember how amazed I was when I saw your place in Tally and you mentioned that you had designed all of the renovations; i knew then that this was a talent that you would soon harness and profit from.

OMG!!! I am halfway around the world purchasing furniture for my apartment in Abu Dhabi and was in need of inspiration of what to do with a light blue couch! It was a very random purchase and a step out on a limb of adding more color into my life! Lo and behold google led me to your post on the blue couch/ Hollywood Glamour! I’m snagging the pops of purple idea! I hope all is well!
